Here comes the fuzz!

Did you know this won a contest? Yeah, a story about cop who turns into werewolf It won a competition brought by a company that has the goal of making movies for the fans and giving fan favorites movie ideas 1 million in backing. It's genius, I love it, and I wonder how bad the other ideas were that a werewolf cop won. Or is it that it's so off the ball that it HAD to win?

WolfCop is perfect and imperfect, amazing and awful, it knows exactly what it is, possibly because the writer is also the director. The actual camera work is ace, and the overall feel of the movie is ace... the rest of the movie is ... needing love. Example ... the main character (Lou Garou) has the emotional range of a potato. He notices basically machete gashes in his stomach in the shape of a

pentagram ... and his response was to clean up and go to work. Likely the way he's written, but at the same time the actor hadn't had any real roles by that point, so possibly just a question of technical skills? I mean ... it has to be written that way, right? .... right? Now if you can look past the bad acting, strange choices, seizure inducing montage sequences, and plot holes, you'll see a fun bad movie that you can sit back, laugh at, and nod your head in appreciation as it gives you the occasional gore fest. We went into this expecting horrible film, but realized pretty early on that it was a high quality laugh that could have been better, but what every purposefully bad film should aim for. If you're looking for a comedy horror like this, but without the downfalls, we recommend TeenWolf, Tucker and Dale vs Evil, or Shaun of the Dead, all of which had the blessings that come with a higher budget.
